Nawab Kapur Singh (1697 – 1753)

Nawab Kapur Singh was born in 1696. He received the baptism of 'Amrit' on the 'Vaisakhi' of 1721. He took the responsibility of leadership of Sikh nation in many battles. He was honoured with the title of Nawab (Duke) in 1733. He died on 7 October 1753 at Amritsar.
