Guru Gobind Singh Ji - (1666 - 1708)

Guru Gobind was born at Patna (East India) on 22 Dec.1666. He spent there four years of his childhood before joining his father Guru Teg Bahadar Ji at Anandpur in Punjab in February 1671. He had lived with his father Guru Teg Bahadar Ji at Anandpur, only for four years, when the 9th Guru, Guru Teg Bahadar Ji sacrified himself in Delhi on 11th Nov. 1675 to defend the right of Hindus to practice their religion. He succeeded as the 10th Guru of the Sikhs at the young age of nine.
